| Our Philosophy |
|
We do not profess to be "Financial Guru's", by that we mean we do not spend our time seeking out the next "hot" investment. We strongly believe that we best serve you in the design of strategies that will match your needs. Proper financial planning is much, much more than how you invest your money. The choice of where to invest your money only comes at the end of an exhaustive, financial modeling process. While it is always important to make sure your investments are suitable for your needs; it is in the strategies employed that you will see the most dramatic effect. For you to be successful in your financial life, it is imperative that your plan be subjected to a rigorous review process, at least annually. You need to check your current situation against the forecast in the plan and then make any adjustments necessary to keep you on track. There has been a great deal of discussion in the press lately, regarding the need for financial advisers to have a "fiduciary duty" to their clients, or in other words, putting their clients interests first. Whether or not such a requirement becomes law, we have always acted in the belief that was the only way to run a financial practice; if we didn't, then the referrals, which are our life blood, would not occur. Business ethics are a core part of our practice, as we feel this is the only way we can continue in business, especially as we operate in a relatively small regional city, where bad news can travel extremely fast. As a member of The Financial Planning Association, we wholeheartedly comply with their code of conduct . You can see what some of our client's think of us and how well we keep our word, by viewing some of the testimonials we have received. |
